Features of lifting chain slings

- Lifting chain is the most commonly used crane sling for the advantages on high strength and durability.
- Lifting chain can be used according to their “grade”, which categorizes them by the order of tensile strength.
Notice to lifting chain
The lifting chains are banned to use when the lifting chains are found with defective welds, questionable welds, bending chain links or elongation chain links, cracked or deformed master and coupling links, etc. When the identification tags of the lifting chains are miss, it is also forbidden to put into use. Any deformation, cracking or wearing is found, the lifting chains are not ready to use. And any other unsafe condition is observed, it is banned to use.
How is the reach of chain slings calculated?
A chain sling’s reach is measured length from the load-bearing point on the sling’s master link to the load-bearing point on the opposite end when the sling is pulled taut.
End fittings
The customization of lifting chain slings with various end fittings is what makes sling chain so versatile and appropriate for a wide variety of lifting jobs.
